Skin Installation and Package Description

  1. Extract the downloaded Package
  2. Find your required skin zip, for this you need to understand the naming conventions used
    to create skin zip names. See the image below to get an idea of which menu is named how.
    UltimateNaming
  3. Goto Admin > Extensions and Install your selected Color and Menu Style zip for e.g the skin applied on this help page is "UltimateBlue_JM.zip"
  4. You will get a message on no manifest found error; Select Skin option and click next
  5. Click next until the finish Screen
  6. Your skin is installed

Skin Setup and configuration

  1. Note the Admin Panel will appear inside the OpenPanel Top bar i.e once you apply the screen you will not be able to see the Dnn ControlPanel bar so panic not just click the Open Panel on top

Layout Containers and Banner Containers setup

  1. Goto Admin> Extension Installer
  2. Install the Container zip named as the color you are using for e.g "UltimateBlueContainers" for Blue
  3. Select container option when prompted with No manifest error
  4. Finish the container Installation
  5. Goto Admin > Skins and select the Container you just installed in the Container Combo box
    This will show you the thumbnails of the installed containers
  6. You can simply note the container design and apply it on your Containers in the pages
    N.B we applied "Container5Blue" as the default container through Admin> Site Settings > Containers

Banner Containers

  1. In the package you will find Banners
  2. Goto Admin> Extension Installer
  3. Install the Container zip named as the color you are using for e.g "BlueStyleBanners.zip" for Blue
  4. Select container option when prompted with No manifest error
  5. Finish the container Installation

Inserting Banners in the Page

  1. Insert a Text/HTML module in a Pane and apply the BannerContainer on this Module
    using the Module > Settings option
  2. The following page shows the PANE names for inserting banners
    http://dnn5.dnngraphics.com/ultimate/Options/PaneLayout.aspx
  3. Note the Banners will only fade if inserted in the BannePane
  4. You have option to insert the banner either above the Menu or below it
  5. Enjoy
